At present the school offers courses – B. Ed with a total intake of 200 seats, M.Ed. with an intake of 50 seats, M.A. Education with 25 seats and PhD (Edu.) with 5 seats. The institute unfolds, develops and utilizes full potential to make prospective teachers and teacher educator’s committed, competent, responsible and compassionate citizens.
Our faculty is qualified as per the prescribed norms of the affiliating university. The institute has twenty faculty members; nine of them are PhDs and three with M.Phil degrees.
For the over all development of our students and to provide them edge over other students specialized add on courses are offered. The courses are exploring Higher Order Thinking Skills(HOTS) through innovation and alternatives ideas in learning, creating inclusive classrooms: Learning Disabilities, personality development course and using computers in teaching learning: An introduction to computers is offered to all students.
Student centered education is the core of the institutional ethos with optimal student progression through diversity, collaborative learning, learner autonomy, innovation and creativity. Participation in cultural activities is encouraged.
