The festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated at the Isharjyot Degree College For Women with great fervour and enthusiasm. The Basant Panchami or popularly known as the ‘kite festival’ was celebrated with kite-flying and solo singing competitions and dressing up for the day. All students of the college celebrated the festival by dressing up in various shades of yellow.
On the occasion, Director of the College, Baba Mani Singh ji congratulated everyone on the occasion. Principal Dr. Suman Saini put light on the importance of the day and told that Saraswati Mata is the Goddess of learning and knowledge.
