Women Cell of Isharjyot Degree College for Women, Pehowa celebrated Basant Panchami, the auspicious festival which marks the end of the winter season & the onset of spring season in North India on 09.02.2019. The celebrations commenced with the Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for seeking knowledge and a prosperous life. All students of the college celebrated the festival by dressing up in various shades of yellow. The festival was celebrated with Fancy Dress and Poetry recitation competitions and dressing up for the day. On the occasion, President of the College, Baba Mann Singh ji congratulated everyone. Principal Dr. Archana Kataria put light on the importance of the day and told that Saraswati Mata is the Goddess of learning and knowledge.
