On 14 August 2017, Isharjyot Degree College For Women celebrated Independence day with zeal and spirit befitting the occasion. Baba Mani Singh Ji graced the occasion. Students participated in Poem Recitation Competition, Patriotic Song Singing Competition and Speech Competition. The prizes they won added cheer to the day.
