Youth and cultural affair society of IJDCW celebrated National Youth Day on 12.01.2019 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great patriot prophet of India, Swami Vivekanand Ji. The convener of the cultural society, Ms. Baljeet Kaur delivered the welcome address and addressed the audience about the life of Swami Ji. Principal, Dr. Archana Kataria motivated the young students by briefing the ideals and contributions of Swami Ji to the Indian Society. Students discussed about their role model on the occasion. Audience also witnessed dance performances given by the students. At the end of the programme, Lohri was celebrated in the campus with full festivity and fervor by the staff and students. In line with Punjabi tradition, Lohri bonfire was lit by Baba Mani Singh Ji, Vice President of the college. He congratulated the staff and the students on the occasion.
