NSS Committee of IJDCW organized a seven days NSS Camp from 24.12.2018 to 02.01.2019 with the objective to begin the interface with community, rapport building with community members and developing long term institutional relation with the community and contribution to the upliftment of people therein as well as creating awareness among masses. 50 volunteers turned up and participated enthusiastically in all the activities such as cleaning campaign, awareness programs etc. with full cooperation and zeal in the camp. The camp began with inaugural function in the College Campus. Principal, Dr. Archana Kataria delivered inaugural address and appreciated the students for joining the NSS scheme and encouraged them to involve themselves in the similar social service practices. Rally and Health & Hygiene Awareness drive marked the 4th day of camp at village Gumthala. Subsequently, an awareness rally on ‘Girls Education’ was flagged off in that village. On valedictory ceremony students and staff were seen enjoying cultural events. Vice Principal, Sh. RC Sharma extended a vote of thanks and lauded the efforts of staff members and students.
